Use old router as access point

I found an old router (the model is ZyXEL, no idea what it is, it was provided by my ISP which is Eir) & decided to create an access point/repeater from it to save money. I bought 20 metres (65.6ft) of Cat 5 cable & ran it from the main router (router A) to the one I was planning on making into an access point (router B).
